We would highly recommend Donlin Construction to others. Barry and Dion did such an amazing job. Barry kept up informed every step of the way. He let us make every little decision and gave us really great options. We could not be happier with how our deck and back splash turned out. I think everyone who sees our deck is envious and our back splash has transformed our kitchen. We are thinking about having more work done in the future and there is no one else we would want to do it except Dolin Construction. I cannot say enough great things about them. I was nervous to start this journey (you hear horror stories) but Barry made us feel so comfortable with the entire process. Not only did they do an excellent job but they showed our dogs love when they came to work and that really touched us. Things like that make a difference.

LOVE Donlin Construction! We had gotten several estimates from a few other companies but when we met with Barry from Donlin Construction we knew it was a perfect fit. Barry took quite a bit of time to understand our style and our vision for our house. We loved that he was an advocate for our creativity and giving a few creative tips himself without compromising our house’s integrity. We had heard unpleasant house stories from friends about the length of time it took their contractors to complete their renovations and we were grateful for the time it took Barry and Dion to complete our very sizable project. Both Dion and Barry were respectful, considerate thoughtful and are very talented individuals. We will definitely have them do future projects for us!

UPDATE: We loved Donlin Construction so much from the last renovation that we had them back to totally re-do our kitchen. As with the last install, we are totally thrilled! We now have a super modern and up to date kitchen. And the project went off without a hitch. They have 100% earned our trust and we're already planning next projects with them. Next up for sure is our shed roof, which is minor, of course. And also we have plans on re-doing our main bathroom not too far down the road. HIGHLY recommend them! We couldn't be happier with the work done by Barry and the crew at Donlin Construction. After all new flooring, new interior doors, and the removal of a wall, we feel like we're living in a new house! All the guys were extremely professional and fun all at the same time. Their attention to detail is awesome, and the fact that they worked so neatly was greatly appreciated. Living in a house at the same time that major renovations are going on isn't fun, and Barry and the crew made sure to do everything they could to make sure we were still able to function and happy. Highly recommend using them for anyone considering remodeling of any sort for their homes. I know we'll use them in the future when we have additional work come up.

Donlin Construction was great to work with. From the design with Barry to the actual demo and remodel with Barry and Dion, it was a great experience. They were very professional, and fun! We are very pleased with our kitchen remodel.

Barry Donlin has completed several projects of at our home over a period of about 10 years (2014-2024). Barry has been more than up to the task every time and we can endorse him without reservation! Most recently, he transformed our walk-out basement into a beautiful and comfortable in-law apartment. We all love it and are very proud of it. Barry is a terrific communicator and meticulous planner, also an excellent craftsman possessing a wide knowledge of materials and the creativity to use them with greatest effect. On the project management side, Barry has saved us significant time by minimizing hassles with our township’s bureaucracy and on-site inspectors. The most shining example of Barry’s management skills was his help recovering from a fire that caused extensive smoke damage, with well over $100,000 in total damage. Barry and his team efficiently and beautifully completed all the cleaning, restoration, and construction. In addition, he minimized our stress and made sure we were fully compensated for our losses through his effective and amicable interactions with the insurance adjustor. Finally, Barry and his associates (Dion et al) always behave in a highly professional manner and keep us involved and fully informed every step of the way. They also work very neatly and are pleasant (even fun) to have around, which makes unavoidable disruption of daily life much easier to bear.

I would highly recommend Donlin Construction. From the initial visit with Barry for a quote, his attention to detail and thoroughness was apparent. This carried through completion of replacement and remodel of our existing fireplace. Barry and Dion were so professional and mindful of my family throughout construction. It truly was a seamless project and was not burdensome in any way. I couldn't be happier!

Highly recommend Barry and his crew for all of your house project needs! Not only are they very communicative, they’re super friendly and very efficient. They pay attention to detail and exceed expectations. The previous owners of our house did a “flip” and took many shortcuts throughout the process. Our family could not speak more highly of Barry and his crew! We have now completed two home renovations with them. After they hit it out of the park with our Master Bathroom Reno in 2021, we knew there was no other contractor we wanted to tap for our first floor kitchen and floor remodel.
